# 10 Big budget movies that were super flop

Big banner, big budget, big stars, but not big box office collection. Bollywood has its own share of movies that turned out to be super flops in spite of lot of hype .producers of such movies have suffered lot of losses . some of the recent movies in spite of big star cast badly suffered and could not even manage their production cost .here is the list of some of them

1) Humshakals
What went wrong Mr Sajjid Khan, maybe it was too much dose of triplets of Saif Ali khan, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor.

2) Saawariya
This one was launch pad for Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But the movie failed miserably at box office. We could only enjoy Ranbir and his towel rest of movie was beyond our imagination. May be Mr Bhansali got too imaginative.

3) Love story 2050
Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja starrer science fiction love story was another flop movie. Movie was inspiration from Hollywood movies but lacked story, style and failed to capture interest of audience.

4) Blue
Another thriller movie based on Hollywood style but failed badly. Star cast included Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta,and Zayed Khan and Akshay Kumar. Guys copy but please use some innovations

5) Himmatwala
Another big budget movie by Sajjid Khan which performed badly. It was remake of old movie and starred Ajay Devgan and Tamana but audience didn’t show himmat to watch this.

6) Yuvraj
This Salman Khan starrer movie also enters the list of super flop Bollywood movies. It also featured Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif but was not able to take off.

7) Veer
Another high budget movie by Salman Khan boomed badly at box office. Salman played role of warrior but film didn’t performed well.

8) Aag
Earlier named as Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag, film was remake of huge hit “ Sholay “. Star cast included Amitabh Bachan, Ajay Divan, Sushmita Sen, Mohan Lal was biggest disaster of all time.

9) Drona
This fantasy super hero film feauring Abhishek Bachan and Priyanka Chopra was produced at budget of 60 crore. The film could not even collect half of its production cost.

10) Bombay Velvet
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, “Bombay Velvet” featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles. The film was expected to do good box office business, considering the star cast and promotions, but it turned out to be one of the biggest flops of all times. The Rs 120 crore movie died away with a box office collection of just Rs 31 crore.
